So any seasoned flickr vet will know that this is a serious look and feel upgrade, but what new features are really under the hood. I haven’t had a chance to push it to the limit yet, but supposedly this release takes care of many of my previous complaints.

Take a peek at the new face of flickr bulk uploading: ( sorry the new version of wordpress is toying with me. I cant seem to get thumbnails to display properly)

The preferences page shows many of the earlier settings, but you now have the ability to switch between various identities if you have them. The bigger default size and support for collections are both major pluses in my book

Thanks to all for your input on the first beta. I’ve got a new one ready now (linked below) that should fix some of the biggest issues. Windows users, your desktop shortcut and right click menu are coming soon.

This release fixes:

1. The complete brokenness on some Macs that left the spinning balls permanently.

2. The bug cowsandmilk reported about the upload button disappearing.

3. And much better IPTC data handling for titles and tags. Thanks to those who posted sample images for me - they were most helpful.

Without further ado, here is Flickr Uploadr 3.0 beta 2:
